The 5-Category Scoring System
Every casino on BetYard is scored across five categories. Each category is weighted by how much it actually affects day-to-day player experience. The final rating is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal.

Payout speed is weighted highest because it's the factor players feel most directly. A casino with stunning games and a generous bonus that takes 3 weeks to pay out is, in practice, a bad casino.
🎰 Game Variety (20%)
Total game count, provider diversity, live dealer offering, and whether the platform has exclusive or in-house titles. A casino with 3,000+ games from 10+ providers scores higher than one with 200 generic slots.
🎁 Bonus Quality (20%)
We look past the headline number. A $2,500 bonus with a 60x wagering requirement is worth less than a $500 bonus at 10x. We calculate the expected value of each offer after wagering requirements, time limits, and game restrictions.
⚡ Payout Speed (25%)
The most important practical factor. We test actual withdrawals and record the time from request to funds received. Crypto payouts are weighted separately from bank/check methods. Platforms that pay fast and without friction score highest.
💬 Customer Support (15%)
We contact support at each casino using live chat, email, and sometimes phone — then rate the response time, accuracy, and helpfulness of the answer. We also check public complaint forums for patterns of unresolved disputes.
🔒 Trust & Safety (20%)
Licensing, years of operation, ownership transparency, payment security, and public reputation. An offshore casino licensed in Curaçao with 10+ years of operation scores differently than an unlicensed platform that launched last year.
How We Handle Affiliate Relationships
We enforce this separation structurally: ratings are calculated using the 5-category rubric above before any affiliate relationship is established. Casinos that score poorly are listed with their real scores — we do not inflate ratings to protect affiliate income. How Often We Update Reviews
Casino offerings change — bonuses update, games get added or removed, withdrawal policies change. We re-evaluate each casino we cover at least once per quarter.
